A 27-second spec ad for a made-up e-commerce product (PAWLY, a self-cleaning pet brush), cut three times with different first 3 seconds: a proof hook, a call-out hook and a pattern-interrupt hook. Same body, same offer, so the test only measures the hook. Every visual is AI b-roll animated from stills, because in this sample there was no footage at all.
Play them side by side and only watch the first three seconds. That is the part that decides whether the other 24 get seen.
"This pile came off one dog. In five minutes." The result first, the brush second.
"If your couch looks like this… keep watching." Speaks to the owner who sees the problem every day.
"Stop vacuuming every single day. Do this instead." A command that breaks the scroll rhythm.
A converting ad is a sales argument with a clock on it, not a nice video. Each beat has one job.
Every ad is a code-based edit (Remotion). Hooks, captions, offer and end card are swappable parts, so a new hook on a proven body takes minutes, not hours.
Stills with Nano Banana Pro from a product reference, animated with Grok or Kling. Only the clean first seconds of each generation are used, every shot checked full-size for warped hands, faces and text.
Send me hook rate, hold rate and CPA per ad and I rebuild the losers: new first 3 seconds, tighter pacing or a different angle, while the winners get fresh variants before they fatigue.
Per ad including two hook variants, captions, sound design and AI b-roll. Happy to work with your per-batch model: tell me the batch size and I quote it as one fixed number. AI costs as in your post.
Per ad once the template for a SKU exists. The paid trial task within 48 hours of getting the brief and footage.
